Jose went missing at age 21, and was last seen at J Sewell Cove in Ecru, Mississippi, on February 28th, 2021, wearing a gray Champion sweatshirt, khaki pants, camouflage crocs, and carrying a bible. His vehicle was found abandoned on March 3, 2021, on I-22 in Marshall County. When law enforcement searched the area, they stated that residents in the area said they saw Nava around 7 a.m. on the morning of March 1st, 2021, knocking on doors in the area.
