Case Notes

Family and locals theorize that the Ku Klux Klan may be involved in Armstrong's disappearance and mistaken him for his older brother, James, who was dating a white woman at the time of Armstrong's disappearance. Armstrong's family criticized the manner in which the police handled the case in the beginning. An investigator recently told the family that several valuable documents are missing from Jerry Armstrong's case file.
