Case Circumstances
Sheriff Tim Nail said Riley had wandered off before, including once in April 2012, but he always returned home.Attala County officials and the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks combed the area and found no trace of Riley. Riley was last seen leaving his mother's home in the Zemuly Community at approximately 11 a.m. on December 22, 2012, and has not been seen since. His family reported him missing on January 7, 2013. Shortly after Riley's disappearance, the Attala County Sheriff's Department and additional personnel conducted a search of the area but search efforts did not uncover any information to lead to Riley's whereabouts.
