Henry went missing at age 89, and was last seen in Jonestown, Mississippi on July 23, 1990. He lived and worked on the Alcorn Russell farm. During the night, he left his home driving his dark blue 1976 Ford Maverick, which was recovered near Friar's Point, Mississippi. It is believed that Henry met with foul play, and two individuals have confessed to his disappearance and murder, however Henry has yet to be located.
