Unknown. Jessie was last seen late in the afternoon at a family member's residence in the vicinity of the 800 block of Little St. in West Point, MS. She was reported missing by her family ten days after she was last seen and she did not show up to her grandmother's funeral. Her family says that it was not unlike her to go a few days without contact but it was very unlike her to not make contact with family for over a week. Before she disappeared, Barnes told her sister that a man threatened her with a knife but she was unable to recall the man's name. It is unclear whether or not this is in any way related to her disappearance.
