Case Circumstances
John Leo Hill, 59, of 304 Albin-Mikoma Road, Webb, is a white male with brown hair and brown eyes, standing 5ft, 11 inches tall and weighing about 190 lbs. Tallahatchie County Sheriff William Brewer said one of Hill’s sons, who lives in Sunflower County, notified authorities Monday that the man was missing.
However, officials soon learned that Hill’s last confirmed contact with anyone was several weeks ago. “He has been missing since probably around the middle of August, based on our investigation,” Brewer noted.
On Tuesday, local officials explored the perimeter of Hill’s rural residence, aided by several-dozen volunteers, including personnel from Bolivar County Search and Rescue, Brewer said.
