Jeffrey was last seen on March 20, 1980, leaving the Townhouse Lounge in downtown Hattiesburg, at about 9:30 or 10 p.m. to go home where he was meant to meet his date. His vehicle was located the following day near Short Katie Street, and has been abandoned and appeared to be involved in a minor hit-and-run accident. Jeffrey has not been seen or heard from since he left the Townhouse Lounge that night.
