Don was last seen refueling his blue & white Cessna airplane at an airport in Vicksburg, MS, on 11/4/1983. Don was enroute back to his residence in West Carroll Parish. Don has not been seen or heard from since that date, and his plane has not been recovered.
Additional Information: He was en route to pick up parts for his combine tractor and witnesses there stated he looked like he was not feeling well. After picking the combine parts up, he lifted off sometime between 10:30 and 11:00 a.m. A teacher and class in Vicksburg saw his plane fly overhead as they were going inside to get out of the rain.
