Case Circumstances
On 11/09/1999 the Desoto County Sheriff's Department received a call from the Cheyenne Police Department advising that Katherine Lowery's children were located in Cheyenne, WY with her boyfriend, Steven. Both children advised that they had not seen their mother since Feb. 1999 in Olive Branch, MS. Investigators went to the Mississippi home that Steven and Lowery shared. Steven had attempted to clean the home prior to leaving for Wyoming with the children. Investigators were able to find blood evidence in the home; however, they were unable to locate Lowery.
