Elizabeth went missing at age 39, and was last seen leaving Waynesboro on May 1, 2015, with the Delta Carnival Service, but did not contact her family until months afterward, police said. At one point, she called and told her mother that she no longer
worked with Delta Carnival and was headed with some other carnival workers
to California for work, Waynesboro police said. Elizabeth’s brother received a text message from her in August 2015 saying she was stranded in Venice, California, and needed money for bus fare. Dearmon-Bolton’s brother asked that she call him, but she never did, according to police.
