May was last seen in the company of her ex-boyfriend, Virgil Ray Phillips, and a female, Sasha Ketchersid. The three dropped May's three children off to Phillip's mother at Paul B. Johnson State Park in Forrest County, Mississippi on July 22, 2020. From there, May, Phillips, and Ketchersid allegedly drove to Gulfport, Mississippi where Phillips states that he dropped May off at a Shell gas station on Highway 49.
